Terms & Conditions
Last updated August 26, 2026
The short version. Quotes are estimates until we see the job. We give you a firm price before we load anything, and you can walk away at that point at no charge. There are some things we legally cannot haul, and we need safe access to get to your stuff.
These terms apply to this website and to junk removal, cleanout and light demolition services provided by Junkin' It (“Junkin' It,” “we,” “us”). By requesting service you agree to them.
1. Quotes and pricing
- Prices shown on this website are based on how much of the truck your load fills. They are estimates, not final contracts.
- A price given over the phone, by text or from a photo is an estimate. Photos help, but they cannot show everything.
- We confirm a firm, flat price on site before we load anything. If the load is bigger, heavier or harder to reach than what we were shown, the on-site price may differ from the estimate.
- If you do not accept the on-site price, we leave and you owe nothing.
- Heavy or dense material — concrete, brick, dirt, roofing shingles, tile — is priced by weight rather than volume and is quoted separately.
- Extra charges may apply for long carries, multiple flights of stairs, disassembly, appliance refrigerant recovery, mattress or tire disposal fees, or items requiring special handling. We will tell you before we start.
2. Scheduling and arrival windows
- Our normal hours are Monday through Saturday, 7am to 6pm.
- Booking a day and window through this website is a request. Your appointment is not confirmed until we confirm it by text, call or email.
- We give arrival windows, not exact times. Traffic, weather, dump lines and the job before yours can shift the schedule. We will text you if we are running late.
- We will text you before the crew heads to your address.
- If we cannot reach the property, cannot get access, or nobody is available to authorize the work and price, we may have to reschedule.
3. Cancellations and rescheduling
Call or text (470) 402-5427 as early as you can. There is no cancellation fee for standard residential jobs cancelled before our crew is dispatched. For large commercial jobs, demolition, or jobs requiring dedicated equipment or extra crew, cancellation terms will be set out in your written estimate.
4. What we cannot take
Regulations prevent us from hauling certain material. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Hazardous waste, chemicals, solvents, pesticides, paint thinner and pool chemicals
- Asbestos and material suspected of containing asbestos
- Medical, biological or infectious waste, and sharps
- Gasoline, oil, propane tanks, batteries and other flammables or explosives
- Wet paint (dried latex paint is usually fine — ask us)
- Animal waste, carcasses and material contaminated by sewage
- Anything the receiving facility refuses
If we discover prohibited material inside a load after we have quoted, we may leave that material behind and adjust the price for the rest. If prohibited material creates a cleanup or disposal cost for us, you are responsible for that cost.
5. Access, property and damage
- You confirm that you own the items or have permission to have them removed, and that you have the authority to allow us onto the property.
- You agree to give us safe, legal access to the items and a reasonable place to park the truck.
- We do the lifting, and we take care. Even so, moving large items through finished space carries some risk. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear at contact points such as doorframes and stair edges, or damage that cannot reasonably be avoided given the size of the item and the space it has to pass through. Tell us before we start if you are worried about a specific surface.
- If we damage something through our own negligence, tell us within 3 days with photos so we can make it right.
6. Removal is final
Loads are compacted, donated, recycled or disposed of quickly, often the same day. Once an item is on the truck we cannot get it back. Please check the load before we leave, and pull out anything you want to keep — especially documents, keys, jewelry, cash and hard drives. We are not responsible for items you asked us to remove.
7. Donation and recycling
We donate and recycle whatever a partner will accept. We cannot guarantee that any specific item will be donated rather than disposed of, and we cannot provide a tax valuation for donated goods. Where a charity issues a receipt, we will pass it along if you ask.
8. Payment
Payment is due when the job is done unless we have agreed to other terms in writing. Overdue commercial balances may accrue interest at the maximum rate allowed by Georgia law, and you agree to pay reasonable collection costs.
9. Licensing and insurance
We are licensed and insured for the work we advertise. We are not licensed engineers or contractors. Our demolition work is limited to non-structural, light demolition such as sheds, decks, fencing, hot tubs and interior tear-out that does not affect a load-bearing element. We do not perform asbestos or lead abatement, and we do not pull permits on your behalf unless we agree to in writing.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Georgia law, our total liability for any claim relating to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or the sentimental value of removed items.
11. Website content
The text, images, logo and design on this site belong to Junkin' It. Service area lists, response times and prices are current as of the date above and may change. Nothing on this site is a binding offer until we confirm it.
12. Text messages
Text messaging terms and your right to opt out are covered in our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia.
